Bridgetown Coffee's attitude
has always been to have the best coffee, service and training for our
customers. Over the years we are proud of the many awards and
recognition that we have received in competitions, cuppings and other
coffee related industry functions.
1995
Through 1998 McCormick & Schmicks "Portland Cup"
For four consecutive years we won the prestigious PORTLAND CUP
competition against many fine Northwest Specialty roasters. We won
1st or 2nd in these categories; Best "Wake Up Coffee", Best "All
Day Coffee", Best "After Dinner Coffee", Best "French
Press", and Best "Decaffeinated Coffee"

2000 and 2001 TOPS Award
The Specialty Coffee Association's Award for
"demonstrated commitment to excellence in product and service quality."
2001
Recognition at SINTERCAFE
The countries of Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Columbia recognized
Bridgetown Coffee for our outstanding history of "Fair Trade and
Sustainability"

2004, 2005 Judges for "Cup of Excellence"
Our owners have been honored by the requests of coffee growing regions
to judge their countries "Cup of Excellence" competitions which
establish the standards for quality and pricing.
Africa's first annual EAFAC conference evaluation of coffee from the 9
East African growing countries (Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi,
Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia Burundi and Rwanda).
Brazil's Cerrado Region Cup of Excellence.
Costa Rica's Sintercafe Conference competition for best coffee and lead
judge. India's Karnakata'Regions grower's association first
evaluation of their Arabica coffees.
We have also participated and won awards in The
Seattle Cup, The Los Angeles Iced Drink Festival, The Chicago Cup, and
the Washington D.C. Coffee Fest.
Bridgetown Coffee will not hesitate to offer our
coffees in any competition being staged in the USA. We feel this
is an equitable way to judge ourselves against other fine coffee
producers.
